The approval of the new Supreme Tribunal law is a disaster. Pro-Chavez assembly-members approved the law to expand the Tribunal from 20 to 32 judges, in a blatant court-packing exercise. Judicial review wasn’t doing great in Venezuela recently. But now it’s unequivocally deaditie dead dead dead.
