It’s extremely difficult to reach any firm conclusions from reading the Nuevo Herald’s head-spinning tale of Ricardo Fernández Barrueco’s various entanglements with Raul Castro, Hugo Carvajal, Disip, attempted cocaine plantings, G2, people sprayed with 15 bullets,  DIM, the Panamanian fishing industry, the CIA and 28 Cuba-bound BMWs beyond this: each time you bought a can of tuna in Venezuela over the last ten years, you were funding a criminal conspiracy of staggering proportions.
