FRANCE-ITALY-EU-IMMIGRATION…A photo released on September 25, 2008 by the Marine nationale shows a fishing boat carrying 300 illegal migrants in the Mediterranean sea, before their interception on September 24, by a French naval vessel patrolling for the EU border security agency Frontex.
The French navy released the migrants to the Italian authorities on the island of Lampedusa.
