Reading today’s Arepita we came across this terrible number: In Venezuela, only 15% earn more than $200 a month—according to the Equilibrium Cende survey.
This reminded us of one of Tony’s pieces on the end of the Pax Bodegónica: “According to Ecoanalítica, the percentage of Venezuelans with wages ranging between 0 and 100 dollars went from 30% in July to 53% in December: an income collapse.”
